  • Scheduled preventive maintenance and inspection of equipment

Documented Procedures and Engineering Changes: Spectra-Tech carefully documents all procurement, inventory, testing and production processes for new and existing products —including online work instructions delivered on the manufacturing floor.

We also have regular customer meetings to review “key performance indicators” and thoroughly manage/document all engineering changes so that we can accommodate your ever-changing market requirements.

First Board Process Verification: Before production begins, Spectra-Tech performs “first article” inspections that include:

  • Thermal profile
  • 100% verification to IPC A 610
    • all solder joints (X-Ray BGA assemblies)
    • all surface mount components
    • all through hole components
    • component orientation
    • connectors & terminals
    • all mechanical assembly
  • No AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) on first lot


ISO 9001:2008:
Spectra-Tech is certified though April 2012 for “Contract Manufacturing of Circuit Board Assembly” (ANAB accredited)

RoHS Compliant:
Spectra-Tech offers RoHS compliant processes for manufacturing lead-free assemblies, components, bare PCB and solder.


IPC Standards Compliant: As an active member of the IPC, Spectra-Tech complies applicable standards for quality, training and business practices.
